When my trusty old band headphones cracked I had to go shopping for a new set for the first time in years and it was a minefield!
I don't like 'buds' in my ears..they never stay in place anyway and make my inner ears itch so I thought it would be over ears again until I saw these Mixx open ear headphones. I did a little research to see what that term actually meant and took a punt on them .... so glad I did.
They are comfortable beyond words. I've frequently stopped listening to a podcast or music then forgotten until hours later that I still have them hooked over my ears. Even with glasses, they are comfortable.
They stay in place - I'm no world class athlete but I move around a lot and they have yet to fall off (and I have quite small ears..there's not a lot of ear to hold stuff where it should stay!).
Sound is great - lovely and clear. Great for music and spoken voices.
Easy peasy to use - pair them once and you're good to go. as soon as you take them from the case they find your phone and I love how easy it is to pause what I'm listening to with one little click on the RH side.
The whole 'charge in the case' thing was new to me and I love it - pop them back and and they're ready to roll for the next time. I haven't totally depleted the battery yet in one listening session (maybe used for 2 or 3hrs non stop before they go back in the case for a while) but they certainly meet any longevity needs I have.
Very occasionally (and I mean half a dozen times in the few months I've owned them) sound will cut on one side then immediately come back on but that could easily be a proximity thing as I tend to leave my phone in one place if I'm doing stuff in the house... that was me struggling to find a downside for these little beauties and that's all I can find!
Very pleased I bought them and they're worth every penny.
Perfect headphones imo. Bass is on point and it can be loud, but that’s for you to control.
Been searching over a year for a 2 in 1 system and so glad we came across this Mixx one. It looks stylish not big or chunky like others out there. User friendly with remote control and has a great sound too, it’s been a pleasure to hear our old vinyl records again and would definitely recommend. Customer service has been excellent

Unusual concept with CD player in the middle of the deck but it works very well, good sound great product.
Really disappointed as my last pair of Mixx (Streambud Plays) were amazing and lasted ages, but these stopped working properly after about two weeks. One of the earbuds constantly runs out of battery despite being charged. Not sure if they were a faulty pair as previous earbuds from this company have been great.
Long time since the CD player broke and even longer since I was able t play the few vinyl records I have. Paired with my Bose and it works a charm. Really really enjoying it. The presales advice was excellent and delivery beat my expectations by a country mile. Thank you!
came in perfect condition, i like the packaging and they have good sound/volume and battery life lasts really long too. they feel ok in the ear nothing special, ive worn comfier ones but these are not bad or uncomfortable. ive had them for about 2 weeks now and no problems. i enjoy using them
We have lots of vinyls & CDs from the 80s onwards & after a big sort out decided to store them downstairs & needed something to play them on. Came across this after researching loads of options mainly only coming up with bulky units or separates. This is such a good idea. Bought in black and looks stylish in our lounge & the cd player in the middle is such a great concept. It isn't one of those slide in and out ones which tended to stick in the past. We Bluetoothed it to a JBL party speaker we brought out of the garage & wow great sound and perfect if you want to revisit the sounds of your youth. So please with this and gets loads of compliments from visitors.
Used it again today to play my record from ELO (TIME) and i also played it on the cd player to see which was the best sounding im afrai to say the cd version sounded best but enjoyed the record as well fantastic player great buy would reccomend this player great player well worth the money

Hi I was given a pair of these for Christmas I opened them and one side just wasn’t charging the other side worked perfectly but I couldn’t use the left one as it wasn’t working

Great Packaging! Great sound quality on head phones. Very compact so does not look to big when put on and very easy to travel with!
I had brought these headphones after my original ones had completely broken as I have neurodivergence and i love music a lot when i’m out and about. these headphones are currently playing up on me, telling me the right one has low battery after 10 minutes of usage and 2 hours of the case charging and leaving them overnight to charge in the case. Honestly so disappointing and so simply annoyed too.
Battery in case drains very quickly and music randomly stops- wouldn’t recommend. I’ve had mixx earbuds in the past and they were really good- these ones were disappointing.
Very good headphones great sound
I purchased these for work because I get distracted in a busy office environment. The ANC option blocks noise but I can still hear quite a lot and whenever I am using this option, I get a little headache.
It definitely helps but if I had a bigger budget I would have gone for a different option.
These are brilliant headphones - no messing around trying to pair them & connect back again! Easy on/off switch. Battery says 15 hours and I didn’t count, but it was plenty for me. I got the taupe colour and they look nice too! They are comfy and most importantly they sound AMAZING with really clear sound. Love them
2nd pair of these, and for a reason. Easy to use buttons controlling volume and skip/ pause. Comfortable over ear padding too.
Great affordable Bone Conductive Headphones. Sound is acceptable for the price.
Work like a dream and are beautifully designed. The case is so convienient and looks great!
